Boise State University - Dona Larsen Track & Field

With the expansion of their football stadium, Boise State University has developed a new track and field facility at the adjacent Dona Larsen Park. The project was constructed with a design-build approach with McAlvain Construction taking the lead and D.A. Hogan & Associates providing overall site planning and detailed design and specifications for the track and field events as well as the interior synthetic turf field. This field serves as a primary game site for Boise City Schools Football. The track and field events include an IAAF oval with full-pour polyurethane surfacing as well as multiple venues for each field event. The project includes grandstand seating for approximately 8,000, facilities for team meeting & locker rooms, facilities maintenance quarters, public restrooms & concessions, as well as parking, internal circulation and landscaping.
