D.A. Hogan & Associates prepared the master plan and the construction documents for the renovation of Robertson Field on the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara. The master plan evaluated field configurations for soccer, lacrosse, flag football, ultimate, rugby, and field hockey. The master plan process also included extensive cost estimating, background information on infilled synthetic turf surfacing and vendors, and a project schedule. The renovation included the installation of an infilled synthetic turf field surface. The field base includes a new subsurface drainage system, washwater systems, and permeable base aggregate. The project also includes perimeter fencing, paving, and landscaping. D.A. Hogan & Associates also provided design and construction inspection services for the renovation of the adjacent natural turf field. The project was completed under budget.
