Eastlake High School

D.A. Hogan & Associates was the prime consultant for the reconstruction of the synthetic turf football and soccer field at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, WA. Our role included design through construction administration phases of work. D.A. Hogan organized and directed the selection of the synthetic turf product for the Lake Washington School District through the education of the products available, site visits to review completed installations and vendor presentations about various products. The project included replacement of the conventional synthetic turf surface with a sand and rubber infilled turf over an existing porous asphalt base. Included were inlaid markings for football and soccer, as well as reconstruction of the edge anchoring system. Construction was completed within the limits existing rubberized running track.
